Timeless truth from a timeless word. The Living God does the unprecedented in the midst of the unimaginable. Hear what God does with a commander of a foreign army, a prophet amongst a hostile people, and a judge who felt inadequate. What was true for each of them is true for you. God is still doing the unprecedented in the midst of the unimaginable.
Sermon: July 5, 2015
We may live in a free nation, but many people have lost the idea of what the Founders had in mind when they wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence. They weren't just declaring a freedom from something, they were declaring a freedom to something. It's an idea they obviously borrowed from Scripture. The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Galatia addressing this very thing. As followers of Jesus, we aren't simply free from something, we've been set free to do something.
Sermon Series: June
Jesus, in the hours before he would be handed over to be crucified, gathered together with his disciples and he gave him a new commandment: “Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” This command can be seen over-and-over again throughout the New Testament. In this series we'll be looking at how this command is lived out in our day-to-day life in the context of Love, Food, Sex & Forgiveness.
Sermon: May 31, 2015
Over and over again throughout Scripture, Jesus claims that the whole law of God points to love. He expresses that assertion through his words and actions. In this sermon, we explore a question that is sure to reveal a lot about yourself and why you treat people the way you do. You will be challenged to put your faith in action as you live amongst the "least of these."
Sermon: May 24, 2015
Pretty much everything we do when it comes to worship will be done in Heaven, and actually, it'll be better. But there's one thing that followers of Jesus won't be able to do in heaven that they must do here: invest in people's lives and invite them to follow.
